(Final Restoration Phase Activity):

  • Sealing the expansion joints in the new plain cement concrete (PCC) sidewalks at corners.

  • Continue working traffic loops on the westbound side of the roadway, east of the bridge.

  • Installation of the sawcut traffic loops.

  • Placement of concrete bottom channel in proposed manhole.

  • Parging around the basin connect pipe in proposed manhole.

Sunday, February 7, 2021 – Saturday, February 13, 2021
(Final Restoration Phase Activity):

  • Cleaning and pot painting a portion of the existing floor beams between the ramp C bridge and the south bridge in span 15.

  • Positioning and spreading topsoil in the median area east of the bridge, between bioswale and the ramp to I-295 northbound.

  • Installation wire mesh at the maintenance bay platforms at the west abutment, span 1 south bridge and the maintenance.

  • Welding the new wire mesh at maintenance bay platforms in span 1, north and south bridges, span 14 and north bridge, span 10 south bridge.

  • Replacing the missing cover plate bolts on the new bridge sidewalk on the north bridge

  • Prepping for the proposed sidewalk sealant on the SW, NW and SE corners of the bridge.

  • Completion of the laying of the proposed traffic loops at the east side.

Sunday, January 31, 2021 – Saturday, February 6, 2021
(Final Restoration Phase Activity):

  • Installation of the wire mesh at the maintenance bay platforms in span 1 of the north and south bridges.

  • Painting the pedestrian railing, patching and parging the underside of the new strip seal join at the east abutment, north and south bridges.

  • Cutting, installing and grouting on the east and west sides of the north and south bridges.

  •  Cleaning and painting the existing floor beam between the ramp C and the south bridge of span 15.
